A vote is the highest form of approval that an individual can give in this country, it is their voice. I have to admire the honesty and chutzpah of the new administration. After mandating masks on federal property, President Biden and his family go the Jefferson Memorial and are seen cavorting maskless. When the press secretary was asked about it, she just said, we have bigger things to worry about. You can't say the whole mask thing was political BS much better than that.

And no pushback from the media about leading by example, or not following the science, or the risk of killing grandma. I'm sure some day we'll finally get an answer as to why trust in the media is so low.

Well, you could review my body of posts on the subject. My view is that hypocrisy is an evolutionary tool that today is no longer beneficial to spreading one's genes, but is a common feature in every human, and not a positive one.

It's usually harmless. But it's especially harmful when leaders do it. And so when leaders do it in a democracy it needs to see the light of day. But at least now you admit that it's hypocritical.

And saying you'd be hypocritical for not wearing one on federal property is a convenient way not to face it. You probably won't be able to enter federal property without a mask, whether indoors or out. Maybe you can get away with walking up to the door of a federal building before donning the mask. I'd kinda think you're not gonna get past the gates of a National Park without one.
