-Deep aluminum pot that was a pressure cooker at one time.
-About a half inch of oil. Just enough to cover the "Real"
cover and put the heat to it.
-When it starts popping shake the post to keep the un-popped corn in the oil.
-Have a half stick (or more) of "Real" butter melting in the Nuclear cooking device or low heat on the stove.
-When the lid pops up off the pot pull it from the heat.
-Put it in a "Huge" bowl or 2 smaller ones to share.
-Ample butter and salt the living :poop: out of it.
-Pour a cold Sprite over ice in a Glass.

    Enjoy.
Instead of oil, try bacon grease one of these days.

    You can thank me later.

Ditto. That's how we learned it as a kid. Pre-nuke days.

I remember as a kid when Mom got one of these:

It was life changing! Us kids could make the popcorn without risking the house to fire.

I gotta be honest, when I first came here looking for a used gun, and saw the 50 reply requirement, I was a bit disappointed. But not nearly as disappointed as my wife when I told her I'll be downstairs for the next 6 hours....
I gotta be honest, when people come to the forum to use us for a swap meet, I get a bit disappointed. But not nearly as disappointed as the OP when mods put the runner back at the starting line....

I'm gonna have to try that in my Whirley Pop stovetop pan. Those hand crank pans are awesome for making perfect popcorn. When done I throw in into a paper lunch bag with butter and shake well. I prefer super fine real cheddar cheese powder to replace salt.

I just read how to make your own cheddar cheese powder too, using a dehydrator and shredded cheese. Gonna need to try that.

Well, if you were a site supporter and had no regular posts yeah. It is an annual renewal.
And we have made the jump to the new age with a different format.
If you came to buy/sell you have to either re-up to support status or go for 50.

Good news is you’re up to 2 now. :)

Just hang out, kick your feet up, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the conversations. You’ll be at 50 in no time, and, I’ll admit, pretty cool group of people here. Problem with a car? Ask. Looking into a gun or holster? Ask. Need a thanksgiving recipe? Ask. Vote democrat? Leave. Nah jk, just enjoy the fun 50 posts will go quick.
