I just buy the boxes with bags in them. Toss in the microwave, add some salty butter seasoning and done. Or are you guys adding oil to that?
I use an air popper. A little more work than the microwaved bags, but it makes a huge difference. Oil and a pot also works quite well. The microwaved kind doesn't even come close to the other methods in terms of finished popcorn quality.

    Pretty much Michigan.
Ahhh. Yeah to much work for me and i dont enjoy dishes. For the effort vs quality microwave bags are unbeatable imo. Plus the portions are on point to keep my calories in check. Smart pop, 50cal/bag, add a little buttery salt because im a glutton and boom, Tasty Popcorn that keeps my diet in check.

-Deep aluminum pot that was a pressure cooker at one time.
-About a half inch of oil. Just enough to cover the "Real"
cover and put the heat to it.
-When it starts popping shake the post to keep the un-popped corn in the oil.
-Have a half stick (or more) of "Real" butter melting in the Nuclear cooking device or low heat on the stove.
-When the lid pops up off the pot pull it from the heat.
-Put it in a "Huge" bowl or 2 smaller ones to share.
-Ample butter and salt the living :poop: out of it.
-Pour a cold Sprite over ice in a Glass.

    Enjoy.

I was on the radar once.

    It cooked my popcorn.
Just think, had that radar Tech not had a Herskey bar in his pocket, we would still be cooking popcorn over an open fire, along with oour mastadon steaks.
