The one casually walking away with his hands in his pocket?
in the first 3 seconds of the video you can see roughly 5-7 officers running away as the barricades are coming down. A 7 second video clip doesnt show the entire story. Believe whatever you want, just looks to me like he's calling for a retreat and regroup.

We had a whole summer of videos of people conveniently wearing masks while committing crimes during protests.
Why are the people storming the Capitol barefaced and posting videos of their crimes?
    Seems like a rookie mistake.

    Because they are ****ing morons?

    :):

They actually thought they were patriots with the backing of Trump. Sad.

    In the country, hopefully.
Well, that's the thing about hypocrisy. It's often in the eye of the beholder, and the standards are littered with exceptions.

I doubt that there is a cop alive who has written a speeding ticket, and has also never unlawfully exceeded the speed limit in his patrol car when not on a run, or even while driving off duty. Or while driving his personal car.

Not saying this is the case with Denny347, as he seems like a good dude, but "hypocrisy" is often the shrill, shrieking call of those who want to feel morally superior to others while not actually having to do anything special themselves.
What happened to absolute truth, not this eye of the beholder new age stuff?

    Man, am I old.

What do you think about men who write about equality and freedom, then retire to their homes tended by slaves in the evening?

I’m not sure of the corollary you are drawing here.
I was just pointing out that many Trump supporters won’t wear masks, especially the ones that would be inclined to march for freedom., as well as the idea that they thought they were going on a march, not busting in some doors, or walking in, whatever the case may be.

And you mentioned hypocrisy, which was being whined about upthread. Just pointing out that there are worse things than hypocrisy. Some people act like it's the end of the world. Not saying you do, just commenting on the idea.

Yea, that’s why I mentioned that specifically here, because I was one that was talking (whining?) about it upthread.
IMO there may be worse things than hypocrisy, but I have trouble thinking of any. Not a fan at all.

Not saying I'm a fan, but not overly bothered by it, since it's so common. And there are much worse things to worry about. Hell, it ain't even one of the seven deadly sins.

I hope it was the **********er who pulled the trigger on Ashli Babbit

Nope not him. Amazing the double standard applied here. Criminal engaged in criminal things gets smoked, so now we wish death on the officer doing his job.

There's a sale right now on used Thin Blue Line flags. May have some slight wear due to being dropped and walked on. Act now and get a free Q-Man decoder ring with purchase. Cash or silver at spot only.

    Cool story, bro

Now do Lon Horiuchi and Vicki Weaver

Edit: And wasn't the cop who stumped Breonna Taylor 'just doing his job'? There are so many different standards it's hard to keep up
