List of Acronyms

Pardon my ignorance but I'm new to the forum and wonder if someone could point me to a list of acronyms used in the INGO forums?

Pardon my ignorance but I'm new to the forum and wonder if someone could point me to a list of acronyms used in the INGO forums?

I'm not sure of a list, but here are some common ones:

LTCH=License to Carry Handgun (The great pink card of Indiana)
CCW=Concealed Carry Weapon
IANAL=I am not a lawyer
IMHO=In My Honest Opinion
NFA=Any Class 3 weapon (Suppressor, Full Auto, SBR, SBS)

Here are some common terms:

Coonfingering = someone having their finger inside the trigger guard
Denny (As in, "Thanks Denny") = Someone ruining a fun thread by pointing out actual facts
Bacon = The best food ever created by God (if you so believe in Him). It is to be included in all polls
Rhino = The beast in charge of knives, also should be included in all polls
Cheeseburger = What churchmouse always promises and never delivers

Thanks to all for the quick responses. I'm really glad that I joined INGO! The information available here is amazing and is of great interest to me as a gun owner. Protecting our 2nd amendment rights is of vital importance to our country.

IMHO: In My Humble Opinion

Coonfingering: Turning something (usually a gun, knife or flashlight) over in your hands, looking at it from every possible angle and leaving no part untouched. Picture a raccoon with a piece of food.

QFT: Quoted For Truth. Quoting someone and replying "QFT" has two different applications:
1) You agree wholeheartedly with the quoted post and consider it to be a fundamental truth of the universe.
2) You think the author of the quoted post is a weasel and might later edit his post to destroy the evidence.

Boating Accident: Apparently, a lot of INGOers carry all their firearms with them while boating. Unfortunately, INGOers don't appear to be particularly adept at boating because these same firearms were all tragically lost in boating accidents and can no longer be confiscated because they are at the bottom of a large body of water.

LT6: Part myth, part urban legend. They are like a secret society but less noble.

Unicorn: Desirable but extremely hard to find firearm.

Tactical: Black (Doesn't matter what it is, if it is black then it is tactical).

Fenway: The Boss, The Big Kahuna, the owner of the website. He is... the most interesting man on the site. He doesn't always make an appearance but when he does, he arrives in either a Lamborghini or Learjet.
