Dad with his blood clot scare last year has decided to start gradually thinning the herd to make sure the proper firearms go the the people he chooses. Bittersweet for sure.

New to this house:

His 1st firearm: Mossberg 195K-A shotgun 12 ga (hell, that spare mag is the only one I know in existence that I bought for him a few years ago that cost more that the original purchase price of the gun).

Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited .357

Beretta Xtrema 2 rifled barrel with scope and the rifles assembly for righties (he's a lefty).

Kid received the unfired Marlin 1897-1997 Century Limited .22lr







Ugh, now I had to move things around on my Tatical Walls mod walls knowing more is coming , and I have to do it all over again.

Ugh, now I had to move things around on my Tatical Walls mod walls knowing more is coming , and I have to do it all over again.

I learned to shoot clays with one of those bolt action Mossbergs.

I just got a call from Dad and one firearm coming back with me next visit is a scoped stainless steel Marlin in 30-30.


Not only will I have to rearrange my Tatical Wall arrangement around, but I do not own any 30-30.

Got the wife a pound for her birthday last year. I didn't tell her anything about it but she resesrched it. Made for an interesting conversation.

I will say, best coffee I have had.


My problem of the day is I have a huge Amaco sign I need to find a place to hang. Its about 6 or 7 fert tall and about 10 feet wide not including the glame pf the torch.

Hard to get a good reference of size but there is a stoplight there to compare.

The shed is 12' wide there.

I could easily hang it on the shed but not sure the neighbors would appreciate looking at it.

On the Gulf coast. First two days the surf was too rough for my 5yo to swim. Today was calm but the surf was full of jelly fish. Have had to make do with the indoor and outdoor pools, splash pad and lots of fresh seafood.

Last Sunday Walmart in Owensboro was totally out of Miller Lite cases. Unacceptable! I have a beer belly to support.

The Rolls had a flat tire and it took the chauffeur 20 minutes to change it which caused me to be late to the lobster dinner and the lobster was cold!

"Off with his head"... I hate it when chauffeurs' take so long changing a dang tire. You could call the Auto Club in that time.

If you like pissing away money on 12 Guinness to mow/manicure your 1/2 acre HSA yard go for it.
