Yeah. They’re gonna tear **** up tonight.Because the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl?
Yeah. They’re gonna tear **** up tonight.Because the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl?
I've never understood that mentality.Yeah. They’re gonna tear **** up tonight.
So what were they trying to accomplish?Exactly. It's like Bongino said. They weren't trained to handle this situation in the manner of which they did so obviously there are other factors in play here. For example, they were not trained to soccer kick someone in the face.
They let base street level instincts take over that ran contrary to any structured disciplined training they may have received. IMO when that happens, they are really no better than the street thug gang mentality.
An ass whoopin'?So what were they trying to accomplish?
Just read an article that said Philly cops greased all the light polls to keep fans from climbing the polls.I've never understood that mentality.
Just for fun, check out comedian Bill Burr's "Philly Rant." It's epic. (Back story: large comedy event, Philly fans being real **** heads to the comedians, then it's Bill's turn and he goes scorched earth on them.)Just read an article that said Philly cops greased all the light polls to keep fans from climbing the polls.
Oh yeah. I’ve listened to it. Hilarious. Something like 16 straight minutes of Bill Burr ****ing on everything Philly.Just for fun, check out comedian Bill Burr's "Philly Rant." It's epic. It used to work for ants trying to get to our hummingbird feeder hung on a shepherd's hook, so yeah, I could see that.Just read an article that said Philly cops greased all the light polls to keep fans from climbing the polls.
I coached little league baseball awhile back and it was an eye opener. I loved having a parent ask me to play their kid at first base after a week of practice where the kid was a distraction. “No Karen, your kid can’t play first base. He doesn’t hustle, he doesn’t try, you bring him nachos in the dugout and then he gets a tummy ache, he doesn’t listen to the coaches and throws insults in their face”. I never cared if a kid wasn’t good at baseball, I cared that they tried. The kids that tried and were respectful got the opportunity to play more important positions. We all know the answer.
With the continued distruction of the family unit and the lack of stable father figures in these “youths” lives, they develop no respect for authority.
Then you have the other side who’s pride gets hurt when people that should show them, at least, common courtesy, instead get vitriol and hate.
When someone else’s 8 year old kid back talks or disrespects me, (I never act on it), but I really want to teach them a lesson in discipline.
Multiply both of those factors by 100x when dealing with some minority youths and any non-level headed/impatient police officer, and it’s a recipe for a disaster.
Pray for me. After watching my son’s first basketball game (2nd grade homeschool league with all volunteer coaches), I decided the only lady coach, coaching boys no less, that is coaching my son needs some help.
We lost 64-14. We were both spotted 10 points smh.
We had no aggression, couldn’t dribble, pass, shoot, or rebound.
The other team was 100x better and we would have never won, but our boys weren’t even going for the ball.
It was like they were being too nice. “Oh you want the ball? There you go…”
One of the boys was crying on the court. The lady coach checked on him to make sure he wasn’t hurt.
He wasn’t. Well, not physically.
Then she hugged him on the court, in front of God and everyone.
I get it. She’s a nurturer. Can’t help it.
I signed up to help her coach after this.
I know next to nothing about basketball. But I can coach them to go for it, hustle, and be aggressive.
This whole issue was because not enough men stood up and some mom had to coach an all boys 2nd grade team.
In Center Grove suburbia…
Men just aren’t stepping up for anything anymore.
And the next generation suffers for it.
So, say hi to Coach HoosierLife!
Interesting thread..........
And so many with their head in the sand. EVERYTHING is infiltrated by gangs. Whether its bloods/crips/ms13 stuff at this level, or higher level like "shadow govt" at the federal level. The corruption is real.Wow. Interesting commentary then that so many people said it looked like a gang beating. Maybe it was.
Well, for one thing... after the summer riot season of 2020, cops were quitting in droves. And of course if we were able to give a statistical reason why our cops are getting out of hand, maybe... just maybe, we could apply pressure to "our" (citizen) side of the equation to "do better".
Well, for one thing... after the summer riot season of 2020, cops were quitting in droves.
Departments had been giving orders to allow the chaos, and the "defund" movement was in full bloom...
Most times (not that there was many) when they did try to crack down on it, they either got zero back up from their departments, and the cities, or outright thrown under the bus for their troubles.
Officers in the thousands just got sick of it and got out of law enforcement for other careers or retired.
Then, places like this leftie run crap-hole Memphis, were so desperate for cops... they lowered hiring standards, and went all "woke" with "diversity" hiring practices, rather than trying to entice quality candidates.
Currently, you can get hired on the MPD with a FELONY on your record...
Every single one of the 5 officers involved in this incident were hired AFTER the post 2020 lowering of hiring standards at the MPD.
Can't say for sure exactly why it seems cops are getting as you say "out of hand" but when you hire idiots for officers... then let the departments be run by even more idiots... then vote in even more idiots to run the cities they're in...?
I need to know more about this. What kind of felonies?Currently, you can get hired on the MPD with a FELONY on your record...
I need to know more about this. What kind of felonies?
Holy ****!
Interesting thread..........
Just quoting the TV... Tucker Carlson to be exact.I need to know more about this. What kind of felonies?
Holy ****!
Remember this incident happened a couple weeks back.Website says otherwise, but I don't know if there's some exceptions:
Criminal Record: Applicants must not have been convicted of, or pled guilty (or entered a plea of Nolo Contendere) to any felony charges. This also applies to violations of any federal/state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor or controlled substances.

So, someone threw a brick through a cop car in NYC, but no riots.
The Prosecutor better not stop at these 5 cops. There are a whole bunch more cops that need to be prosecuted here.
The Police Chief down there is acting all innocent ("I'm shocked to find gambling here") but this is on her: the training, the hiring, the naming of the unit "Skorpion" (good grief, they name it Skorpion and act shocked that it Murders people?).
Making Prosecutors prosecute the bad cops is the cheapest, most effective police reform we can have. Prosecutors just need courage, not tax dollars.
