Don't come watch the event I'm shooting in, I'm shy!I would like to see what goes on first though.
I am currently teaching my Wife how to shoot as well (She had not touched a Firearm until we started working with her on a GSG-1911 and a .22 Rifle.). I mainly want to expose her to the Culture and Atmosphere while we are building her confidence and abilities.
Money keeps me from going
What do you have in your safe or on your shelves that's worth $100? You can have enough for the class, lunch, and a gallon of gas. Seriously, the class is worth the money.
You can always borrow a rifle at the range. Just let the instructors know you will need a loaner. You can even borrow my Ruger 10-22 if you would like.
My first is next week in Watervliet, MI followed by July 7-8 in Niles, MI
I'm in grad school and can't really take a whole weekend off from studying to play with guns. A few hours or maybe even a whole day could be doable, but not the whole weekend.
It will be on my list when I'm done with school though.
So, who else hasn't attended an Appleseed?
What's keeping you from joining us on the firing line?

I attended my first one at Watervliet, MI this weekend. Had a great time. I'm going to try to attend 6 over the next year topping off on the National.al Appleseed Weekend April 2013.. if I wasn't so booked in May and June I would shoot for a dozen.

I would love to attend, unfortunately my wife works every other weekend and they always seem to be on the wrong weekends.
