Dove season is just around the corner. I was wondering what shotgun you are taking out in the field with you.

I usually take a 870 with me but since I recently purchased a SX3 I think I'll try it this year.

In the truck will be a combination of:

1 Nine year old English Lab + some of these

    20 gauge Beretta 303
    20 gauge Benelli M2
12 gauge Remington 1100 Special field 21" barrel
    12 gauge Beretta Whitewing O/U

I will be honest, probably all of them, listed in the order of most likely to be used. One is none and I am bringing guns for two so I need four.

Remington Wingmaster but this is because I am not 100% sure of which to use. I also have a Remington 870 magnum Turkey Express but not sure if that would be any better.

The same shotgun I use for EVERYTHING else....including but not limited to multi gun, shotgun matches, geese, ducks, doves, sporting clays, trap, skeet, deer drives, and protecting my yard from unwanted intruders of the furry type.

Remington 1100 20 gauge. My dad entered a father son raffle and won two. One in 12 and one in 20. I was pretty pleased to say the least. Prior to the 1100 I used an 870 in 12 or a beretta 303 upland in 20.

On opening day, Rem 1100 12 g with a skeet barrel on it. After that I used to use an 870 with full choke, but I bought a Beretta O/U F/M and will try it out.

870 mod. choke. I would prefer an 1100 but I can't justify it. $ . So far the 870 I've had for 20+ years has been able to do everything I need a shotgun to do. Them little breasts are so good wrapped in bacon! YUM

I can miss with pretty much anything but my favorite is a Remington 11-87 Upland Special followed by a Ruger O/U both in 12 gauge.
