I have received my first warning ticket in 58 years of driving. It was for an improper left turn.
Mostly out of curiosity, does anyone know how long this written warning will stay in the system?
Thanks for serious, knowledgeable answers; I'll try to laugh at the :flamethrower:.

It may be the type that is Kept Locally - and IF you get another Violation within 12-18 months -- Both are Applied

If not - it gets removed

BMV never sees it. Other officers can potentially see if if they specifically look for it if you got an e-ticket. If it's a paper ticket it's not entered into anything anywhere and is basically a participation trophy for traffic violations.

Thank you both. It was paper and, apparently, equal to a verbal warning. I am appropriately chastened and will be more careful in the future.

If it's a printed paper, it's still e-ticket. If it's handwritten, that's the old style paper ticket.

Thanks from me also, still got mine (warning) from 01, no seat belt. Always wondered about it. Still have never worn a seat belt.
