So many who were instrumental in the murder of millions during the Holocaust, did either serve no time or very little, leave alone receiving death sentences. Even many of those who did receive a death sentence had their sentence reduced.
But on this day 72 years ago 5 Nazi physicians were hanged.

Yes, there were physicians executed at Nuremberg for the experiments done on living human beings. This is well known and not disputed.

The meme, on the other hand, includes a photo of an execution in the Ukraine, falsely claiming that it was taken at Nuremberg. I only got curious about it because the hats the people are wearing are ushanka's, not something one would expect to see Germans wearing.

The meme also then goes on to claim that members of the media were executed at Nuremberg, another false claim. This false claim is obviously the point of the meme, not the execution of the physicians.

If they had executed members of the media for lying and misleading the German people, as the meme claims, they surely would have started with Leni Riefenstahl, but she lived until 2003.

The execution of the physicians is the one, irrelevant, nugget of truth in a bunch of falsehoods.
