Hearing a lot of news that the government EV requirement push is doing a lot to fuel this strike.

Bernie and Newsom and Biden with their green new deal agenda requirements...

That’s the concept car. The production version is a but different but it is similar to the first gen Ridgeline as far as capacity.
The Ridgeline is quite a bigger than the Santa Cruz as far as bed size, which is the whole point of buying a unibody pickup. I'd take a look at a Hyundai pickup if they made one based on the Palisade/Telluride, instead of the Tucson like the Santa Cruz.

The new ridgeline is yeah. The first gen with the trunk holding the spare under the bed so a flat tire with a bed of whatever meant a tow or shoveling out the bed. Now that was a dumb idea for anyone using it as a truck

I’ve used my spare once in 160k so not a huge deal.

Plus side is look at all of this lockable waterproof trunk space!

You could smuggle at least 2 illegals across in there, 3 if you pack them right.

There’s that word again “fair”. Unless we are talking about an indentured servant, there is no such thing as an unfair wage.

But let’s pretend that there is such a thing as fairness. I’m still waiting for one of you union guys to explain to me what’s unfair with UAW workers earning $28/hr when that’s the same average wage for non-management in the rest of the private sector.

I’ve never looked at is as fair or unfair. Just a means that is available to extract the highest compensation possible for the task at hand. Also what others earn in other locations and employment circumstances has no bearing on what is earned or negotiated by someone in another local. I never considered what the guy across the street in the beer distribution center made or had for benefits when my wages and benefits were being negotiated by CWA as a telecommunications employee. If I was making twice his wages and negotiating for another 30% more, I never considered it as out of line. I never wanted a “fair wage”. I wanted everything we could convince them to give us. I expect no less from someone walking into a job negotiation for a management position or a nonunion position. Also I never expected negotiations to include give backs. My experience and knowledge is worth more tomorrow than it is today.

Who cares what Jim Cramer wants? He can take a flying **** at a rolling donut. He's got nothing in this and should stay out of it. This is between the union and upper management. It's called a contract for a reason. Who cares what other nonunion sectors make? Don't like unions? Go work somewhere else. Like em then try to get hired on your merits.
This ain't open for debate on wages. Just look what the Teamsters got for UPS. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing wrong what the UAW is trying to get for the average Joe Schmo at the auto plants.

I just want the retirement benefits I was guaranteed when I was hired and I will retire. I'm tired of the BS at GM Marion. I'll go work for the coroner's office, go sack groceries or make knives in my meager little shop. I don't care. Give me my bennies of working 33 years and I am OUT!

So if I agree that there’s nothing wrong with the UAW trying to get higher wages then do you agree there’s nothing wrong with with the auto companies firing these people and hiring non-union workers at the market rate?

That’s perfectly fine, but it should work both ways shouldn’t it? You can ask for what ever you like and the company should be able to either hire you or tell you to pound sand. Right?

Bernie has lived a lifetime as the poster boy for socialists. He has been living off the government his whole life. If you're a taxpayer, that means that you've been supporting him for many decades.
Yes, just like every career politician that has been sinking this country while robbing us blind. I have no use for sanders and his name is right there with about 530 other names on the worthless list. .
