I just did.I've seen the same figures from other news sources that aren't union propaganda. Feel free to prove me wrong.

I can't tell you about other news sources, only from the numbers I've seen. Unfortunately, I am not able to discuss those.I've seen the same figures from other news sources that aren't union propaganda. Feel free to prove me wrong.
No, you didn't.I just did.
Convenient.I can't tell you about other news sources, only from the numbers I've seen. Unfortunately, I am not able to discuss those.
Just used 2022 figures.No, you didn't.
UAW labor cost per GM vehicle is 5%, so why is the strike in day 29?
Both sides in the long strike at General Motors by the United Autoworkers Union agree on one thing, the labor deal is only 5% of the product cost to the company.www.wxyz.com
There are more current articles that quote the same percentage, but I'm not going to take more time to prove my statement is correct. Feel free to come up with proof that I'm wrong.
Two different news sources stating 5%. So far, your rebuttal offers no proof.Just used 2022 figures.
Still over 10%. Look, you can clutch your pearls all you want. You were fed Propo and you fell for it. I just spent the last 10 minutes finding all the numbers which are public and it's way over 4-5%. Union Propaganda meant to misdirect and culture sympathy for a bunch of ****ing mobsters tricking working people.
EDIT, I checked ford. Ford numbers are more than 4-5%. I get free I'll dig up GM.
You want to ignore math, fine. Two different news sources stating 5%. So far, your rebuttal offers no proof.
Guess. It doesn't sound so good when you have to factor in the total cost of compensation.Wonder who is stating hourly wage vs hourly wage including benefits?
And those numbers are only UAW employees, not management. So I can guarantee you that labor cost is a helluva lot higher than 4-5% no matter how much you want to ignore the facts. Royal you again and not you specifically.Thankfully salaried non union Big 3 people work for free

No one pays pensions anymore. I haven't worked for an employer that's payed a pension in >20 years. Time for unions to face the music. Pensions are a turd for companies.Uaw retirees have not seen their pension change in 17 years...
The wife is the last of the TRF pension here in Indiana. Starting the year after she started teaching they stopped enrolling new teachers into that program. Once she clicks the "I'm out" button that figure is fixed as well. There are no increases. Luckily it's based off 5 years when she was making big bucks out of Fishers. 80% of 92k is still decent on top of our other retirement investments.I have an old fashioned defined benefit pension. Once I retire, that pension amount is set in stone. There is no increase ever.
