What TG needs to do is own and repudiate her past positions and affiliations. She can’t just say the current Dem party has “gone too far” when she previously supported someone who was “too far” for the Democratic mainstream. To be believable, she needs to do like Reagan, PJ O’Rourke, or Whitaker Chambers and say, “I used to be a hard leftist. I’ve lately been studying the Constitution — something I should’ve done years ago — and I see that what I previously supported was un-American. I apologize and promise to work hard at un-doing whatever damage I’ve done.”
Otherwise, she’s just contradicting herself.
