TOOL TO DECRIMP BRASS

Looking for a tool and the name for an item to decrimp military brass. I picked up a lot of military brass that is crimped around the primer and trying to find the right word or location to find it?

Primer pocket swager or uniformer, OR you can use a chamfering tool to cut the crimp out.

Kit comes with large and small primer pocket swager. Mine was around $35

I got the Dillon Swager off of eBay back when you could get belted military 30-06 cheap. Made very quick work of those pesky primer crimps.

I just use a chamfering tool when I run across em. Works just fine seating primers off the press.

Thanks to all for the help - now I know what I am looking for and the correct name - will be purchasing the RCBS swager or the Dillion Super Swag 600. A small difference in price around 30 dollars depending on where you go, I let you know how it comes out. I get a lot of military at where I am at.

I contacted Giraud to see if he could make a holder to ream primer pockets but I never heard back. I don't know why it couldn't be done.

I thought about this. There's a video showing how to use the die set or use a cutter.
