My youngest daughter was wearing masks before the world blew up. She did it to keep people away from her when she went to the store or whatever.

It worked until the entire world decided that was a cool thing to do.

She and my wife were in Meijer shopping. Some guy walks up to this other person and starts screaming that she is the reason we are all in this situation because she had a mask on. He was literally screaming, standing right in her face. She finally got away from him. The wife was ready to intervene, luckily she didn't need to.

They get to the checkout and the same loudmouth asshat starts in again on some guy for having a mask on. My daughter went over to another cashier and told her what was going on. The man was escorted out of the store, still screaming profanities about the masked ones.

I believe that the mask mandate was stupid. I feel that those who believed it would save the world are ignorant. I do not go running around verbally assaulting people or blocking them from leaving with my body.

That's the same as a pro-gun guy hounding someone who doesn't carry. It does nothing for the cause, except make you look a fool.

My kids were pro-mask until the facts started coming out. They decided on their own about the masks vs Covid. I let them. I never agreed with the mandate. I wore my mask when the employees had to, out of solidarity to them. Then once the gov started dropping the issue I dropped the mask. Even though good people still have to do it or risk termination.

Sorry to hear that. Some people are just unhinged loons. I am at my wits end with this garbage, but I'm not going to go up to someone wearing a mask and scream at them. That doesn't accomplish anything. If you want to scream at someone, scream at Holcomb or someone who actually caused this mess.

That is the heart of the problem. People think that their opinions matter, and that everyone should listen to them. News flash, personal opinions are worthless. I don't care what you think. IF I did, I would make sure to ask you. Until then, STFU, mind your own business, and leave me the **** alone.

My wife still wears her mask to Church/Costco/Kroger b/c her doctor insists she do so b/c of her multiple health compromises.
We make quite the couple going to Church, her with & me w/o a mask (I always see the humor in all things, haha!).
Only a few people here & there out of hundreds still wear a mask at Church.
I have a friend who had the 1st round of Covid & just 2 years ago got it again & he's been vaccinated twice.
His wife is severely compromised with health issues & he's acted accordingly.
    You just can't figure. :dunno:

I cannot wait for my work to do away with the mask crap. I wear it as little as possible. I know some people who are disappointed that the schools have dropped the requirement, they want their kids to wear masks, but they won't if their peers aren't. :koolaid:

Our work (DoD) just sent out an email yesterday saying that masks are no longer required, and also that testing is no longer required regardless of vaccination status, with the caveat that this could change if our county's status changes (Marion County). Still allowing maximum telework though, so that's all I really care about.

My wife and I were the same, she wearing a mask because our kook daughter was blackmailing her if she wanted to be able to see our grandson. The main reason we moved to NM. Meanwhile I haven’t worn a mask in 18 months, our daughter knew it, and I’m the person she hands grandson to as soon as she walks in the door? Really? I’m the only one who can see thru this?

I told my wife constantly it’s a power thing and as long as you give her the power she will use it. But, wife was afraid daughter would withhold privileges. NM second to last state to drop mask mandates and FINALLY wife says she’s done wearing them. So daughter plays the power card, no seeing grandson if you don’t mask whenever you leave the house, I said hold the line NOW!!! 6 days later daughter comes over with child and acts like nothing happened. Aren’t you glad you put up with this foolishness for 7 months?

Neither of us are vaxxed and never will be. I’ve worked my job every day for two years unvaxxed, but “you” should probably continue to hide in the closet, curled up in the fetal position. For safety.

Everything our .gov has told us about this has been a lie or untrue.
