Duocal is a high calorie, protein-free nutritional supplement that can be added to foods or beverages when additional calories are required.

    Information About Duocal

I have more than a few cans of this and wonder what your guys thoughts are on it. I think it would be pretty good for use in rationing the amount of food but keeping the actual energy value in smaller amount up. I think this would make food amounts last longer as well as keep peoples weight up.
    Thoughts?

It comes in sealed cans with a pull off top and it has totally no flavor and will dissolve really well almost half a can in a cup of water.

There are several meal replacement drinks available in grocery stores that might be worth a look. Most are high protein and were originally formulated for the elderly who had issues with eating regular food. There may be higher grade fitness shakes for body builders available as well.

Shelf life in a metal can may be limited but a few ready to drink cans are probably a good idea in a bug out bag. If I recall, some cans were lined with flavor savors or something.

You could go 24 hours on one drink if pushed. Meal in a can. Buy a case and stash it but note the expiration dates.

What about milk replacement like they feed babies with. We are talking about survival preparation, right ?

I would drink goat **** if it had some value. :40oz:

Good questions on shelf life, curious how long regular whey protien would last if sealed and unopened.
