The amount of money involved in health care today is staggering. Decisions about who gets that cash, and how much, are critical ones for the parties involved. Much like Leo said in the above post, in the past religious institutions were used to obfuscate important decisions and how they were made, today that's the role of big media.

I think the food shortage scare will be real to a degree, but much of it will be about the same old scam. Making those in power and the ones connected to them richer than they already are at the expense of the many. Food is just as important as healthcare so if you control both, you can squeeze more out of people with big media telling them it's for their own good.
