"Libertarian VP Candidate Admits Defeat, Tells Voters To Pick Clinton Over Trump"

Note that this is coming from well-known anti-gunner William Weld of Massachusetts. The title of the article is click-bait, but he does imply that.

    Yep.
Many of his policies and attitudes, and johnsons as well, are closer tied to hitlary and the demoncrats than the Republicans.
    No new here.

    No he doesn't.

That's old and Weld has pointed out that they took it out of context because his next sentence (after the Trump negatives) was about what their campaign offered.

Edit: Johnson btw vetoed gun control laws in New Mexico while Trump was calling for gun bans.

I read elsewhere he's spending very little on internal polling, so how would that feasibly be the answer?

I also don't find it feasible that every other independent poll is wrong.

If I understand you correctly, if one thinks everyone else is wrong and he or she is right, then that person is certainly wrong (or crazy)

    You don't find that ironic?

1980....Carter up by 8-11 points in the polls...Race was called at 8:05 pm before California polls had even closed....Reagan, an outsider with a background in entertainment was declared the winner.........

I have the same feeling now as I had then....(With less vitality of course, I have aged a bit since then...)
