    I don't know. I've seen plenty of cheer boys and most of the modern routines could not be done without a fairly stout one or two.

    I also noticed something like a ref's "Tripping Penalty" in his choreographed antics. Is that a part of this?
    But since this seems to be basketball, I am lost.

    I've seen some these cheer boys who have balanced six hundred wiggly pounds or more, from their shoulders to about eight feet above and it all worked out.
    I'm assuming the cheer girls weighed around a hundred pounds each, if that.
    I think that is the signal for "not enough balls on the court"...
