My first was my BB gun in 1955/56 followed closely by Dad's single shot 22, Stevens I think with the pull back button to cock.

Remington 512 followed the same day by a Remington 870 12 ga. I was 8 years old at the time. Both guns were Dad's and they reside to this day in my safe. Soon to be the property of my son.

Daisy Red Ryder and first firearm was a Winchester 67 that my grandfather bought new in 1934, and I now am the keeper of. It's been shot so much the rifling is nothing but a shadow in the bore now.

My first was a crossman bb gun with wood stock. Then my first gun with real fire power was a single shot 410, but don't rememeber the make. Then I moved to an ithica 20 ga single shot. All of these within the first year or so of being introduced to guns

Grew up in a kinda anti-gun house hold, so first firearm i shot was my M16 the Corps gave me...:rockwoot:
First off thanks for your service! Funny thought crossed my mind - My wife is the eldest of 6 kids from an anti gun family. Everyone thought I was the crazy redneck with guns that stole their sister away, til two of her brothers signed up for duty and our now gun nuts. We have great conversation nowadays lol
