That's a sweet setup GMC, and that trigger sounds very interesting!
CM, your attention to detail is wonderful! That's coming right along!

Thanks. I see this winter as a time for personal projects and this is one of them. All hands on to the extent I have to let Allen take the reins. Then its back to me. I have become as one with the bench again.....:)

There is just something sexy about a 1911. I really enjoy watching you guys work your magic on them.

    Morning all... :coffee:

OK. Today was good. I trimmed up around the nose of the slide and the side cuts. Looks good but still more to do. Finished the rough in on the ejection port.

The blending on the hammer area is all but finalized now. At least the slide to frame. All this will be loved on until acceptably "PURDY"

    What it was...

Everything is roughed in now. De-horned and ready to get the final love touch.

The extractor is harder than Chinese Arithmetic. It will need more attention.

    Looking good...

I have a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 not being used and a Leupold VX-3i LRP 4.5-14x50mm on the way. Not sure what it will end up with. It's a range toy.

That's the glass I have on my RART and I like it a lot.

Too much winning for me lately. That's just not normal. I have 2 packages out for delivery by UPS. One was scheduled for Surepost next Tuesday and the other by UPS on Monday.

They are the Scope and scope base for the Bergara.:D

Guess I'll head back under the basement stairs, once again expecting the sky to fall.
