No. Joe Xiden himself said disrespect for others would not be tolerated and if it happened people would be fired. So, it happened and ... drumroll, please ... people were suspended for a week

It wasn't until the hypocrisy had gotten really thick, and many were calling them on it, that they threw the dude(?) under the bus

One incident tells us something - twice - about their principles
He still did the right thing; so I’m happy with it.

    This.
It was already decided that 1 week suspension was enough.
The administration had been repeatedly grilled about that.

    Your bias is showing
Maybe Biden, big Amtrak fan that he is, will finally “make the trains run on time”?

Of course, about the only way that would be even vaguely possible (outside the Northeast Corridor) would be to kick all of the freight traffic off of the lines used by Amtrak.

Well ya. Subordinates being disrespectful is totally bad. Must fire. But calling people dog faced pony soldier, that’s fine. Or. Idunno. Maybe they found the right meds to keep Joe in his right mind. Maybe now he won’t have those dementia tantrums. A little Meth helped Denny Crane.

He only did the "right thing" because they were called on it, repeatedly.
That doesn't mean he did "the right thing".
Exactly. Doing the right thing means you did it instantly without being pressured to do so. The fact he suspended him for a week without pay, then later “did the right thing” shows he had no desire to do anything more until he was pushed to do so by the rage mob.

Remember "the right thing" bar is now very, very low for biden.

Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline at the same time he is promoting the pipeline from Turkmenistan to India.

"Consider that while the Biden administration is killing a pipeline from which the public could benefit, Biden is promoting a pipeline to enrich both one of the world’s worst dictatorships and a group responsible for thousands of U.S. deaths."

"Freedom House’s latest Freedom in the World report ranks Turkmenistan as among the world’s worst offenders, below even North Korea in terms of freedom and civil liberties. To promote the export of Turkmen gas is to entrench its regime even further. Part of the deal is then paying the Taliban protection money or transit fees for the pipeline transiting Afghan territory. Not only would this undermine the elected Afghanistan government even further, but it would also reward the Taliban for insurgency to the tune of tens of millions of dollars each month. Who needs Russian bounties on U.S. soldiers when the State Department has crafted a scheme to reward the Taliban beyond their wildest dreams?"

Maybe hunter is a consultant or on the board there. That would make it "the right thing".
