Since when have those who are actively destroying this country even cared about counting the bridges?

To these ****ers JUST a bridge too far isn't far enough. I won't be a bit surprised if some swamp critter targets conservatives in the Court, or even key people in Texas.
We all have our red lines. I have been contemplating mine.

So a three judge 5th Circuit panel halted enforcement of the Texas law yet again, last night I think, and there is a hearing on it at the 5th right now, or may have just concluded.
    Stand by.

sigh. I suspect it will be reinstated.
    We will know soon. Also...
"Tuesday, lawmakers in Iowa passed a bill that would make it a crime to enter the state after being deported or denied entry into the United States. Gov. Kim Reynolds, a Republican, said she planned to sign it."

How would a circuit court stop something when SCOTUS already ruled? Guess I'm confused... :dunno:
you have to look closely at what is actually being decided.

A federal district judge in Austin issued an injunction against enforcement of the law.

A 3-Judge panel of the fifth circuit court stayed the injunction, which allowed the law to be enforced.

The US DOJ went to the SCOTUS to asking to overrule the 5th Circuit panel.

The Scotus essentially said “you should not have brought this to us right now, go back to the fifth circuit.“ They didn’t rule on the merits of the Texas law, they just said that the case should not have been brought to them yet. It was a procedural win for the good guys.

This had the effect of allowing the law to take effect.

Then another panel of the fifth circuit court halted enforcement of the law last night, even tho the previous panel had allowed it, and even tho the law was to be heard in 5th circuit hearing today. that’s actually the interesting question, is how and why they did that.

“Texas has recently accepted assistance from five states to help extend the border barrier, patrol the border river, and many more mission-critical tasks on Operation Lone Star. Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, and Utah have sent personnel to the Southern border of Texas to assist in border security, with several more states promising support in the near future.”

If CA, NY, NJ, et al ignore the court regarding Bruen, Heller, McDonald, etc. ... You see where this is going?
The left clear up to the big guy is already guilty of ignoring the court. We are already there, we just have a side that is too concerned about their own future to step in front of the line.

are you saying we should avoid a complete breakdown in civil authority at any cost regardless of how much the left is violating the same concepts? You do know that the one that stands on the hill and refuses to do as required to not lose the war will still be a victim of the ones that win the war? He’ll just be able to ask for praise as he held on to his virtues. I’m of the mindset that if you fail to win the war, saving the constitution is not a possibility. If you win at least there is still an opportunity to keep it whole

I really hope that I am wrong.

My thoughts are that when (not if) a terrorist attack happens on our soil by one of these they have invited & escorted across the border THE LEFT WILL OWN IT. Not sure how they will spin their way out of it, however they will try but too many people are too smart for that.
They will NEVER OWN IT what they will do is some how blame it on trump or the conservatives. I bet they will claim they felt persecuted so they acted out against the oppressive right colonizers.

Does TX have the crime of insurrection? If not how will the Rangers arrest the feds for it?

And are you still up here in IN? Or have you made it down to TX and are standing on the line?

You didn’t answer my question. Also is a charge required now to hold someone indefinitely? I have been to Texas. What a mess. Have you been there? I’m guessing your take is if someone is not physically involved, they need not have an opinion? That is the thought process that has failed this country decade after decade.
