    The article said the shooter was never identified. So if thr grand jury would have said to move forward with chargers what then?

    Manhunt for the shooter???
    The man who shot the robber and then left the scene later contacted a lawyer who contacted the police and subsequently the man sat for an interview with the police. His name was never released, so he was not identified to the press.

    Someone should do a remake of the Glock commercial with Gunny in the diner except when the BG pulls out the sawn-off shotgun no one has to rack their slide, and they all just pull and shoot him at the same time. That would be what I would call a happy ending. A close-up of the bad guy being ventilated would look like that scene from the Godfather where Sonny got whacked at the toll booth.
