So, let's say there's a proposal to suspend the 2A rights for [strike]people[/strike] traitors who: try to cut back the gun rights of all Americans; join groups like Antifia or Occupy; or advocate retaliatory actions against Republicans based on their role in government.

Should their 2A rights be suspended and their firearms confiscated until they prove their willingness to adhere to the constitution?

No, not until they choose to use them in an illegal manner in trying to remove my right to life.

Then they need their rights to own them removed, when they hit the bottom of that rope.

Just for clarification - actual use, right? Or would talking about using or asking others to use a firearm get you over the hurdle?

No. As we often argue it is the RIGHT to keep and bear arms, not the privilege to keep and bear arms. Only convicted felons should have their Second Amendment rights revoked

I dont think anyone should have their rights taken away until they break laws. In this day and age where they can lock you up if you sneeze the right way if they really want to or feel like doing paperwork, there's no reason to not be able to legitimately charge someone who poses a danger to others and keep them isolated or unarmed if a judge or jury rules that. Unless the feds or local LEO's are lazy or drop the ball which happens negligently but also accidentally. Sometimes the system can be overloaded or things funneled the wrong direction. Our government is too large and complicated which sounds weird that a more simpler and smaller system would allow quicker and more accurate results. Too many power lines running in crisscross patterns that even the birds dont know where to land.
I dont believe in taking someones rights away just for their views being different than others unless they are trying to overthrow a legitimate government or something. I'm talking individuals and not a state leaving the union or the like.

However people who actively pursue treason or lie to fisa judges and abuse their elected or appointed positions, then hell yes lock them up if found guilty in a court of law.

If we lose fair, untainted and unbiased due process in this Republic then all is lost

    Not clear?

Like out in the streets trying to kill people they disagree with politically. ACTUAL use. Then, fry them. Cruel and unusual punishment has been approved.

    Also: That poll though... :D

The kind where a question is asked, and people are invited to vote.

    Borrowed from another thread:
    https://townhall.com/columnists/kur...d-will-inevitably-turn-into-violence-n2494043

"So, the left will embrace violence. It’s only a matter of time. They have to go there, because there’s nothing else left to try to undo our successful rebellion of 2016. The inertia of their hatred makes it inevitable. If we really are Nazi murderers who butcher children, don’t they kind of have to respond violently? Is violence against us justified? If what they are saying was true, it would be mandatory. Now, we know a lot of big name liberals don’t believe the crap they are spewing, but the base does. Do you think at Democrat gatherings, in fern bars and bus stations, they don’t giggle and whisper about how they hope the next time one of their own attacks a bunch of conservatives he, she, or xe runs up the body count?"

If people are so convinced that there's an insurrection coming, would it not be prudent to deny the traitors the means to succeed? Right now, the morally just have the political power. Another few election cycles, that may not be true.
