    discontinued model with a retail of around $350 so expect to pay more unless you get lucky.

    edit: found a couple in the $210-$220 range. for the money if your looking for a chopper go with a becker BK9 for about half of the forager and it's a better chopper.

    Anyone who does have one - feel my jealousy. This was one of those blades I thought I could wait on until one day when I walked into the gun shop it was gone, never to be found again. I erroneously figured what kind of company would ever discontinue a blade this good. :rolleyes:

    I see...maybe I'll pass on it and buy a BK9 then. the spyderco sure is pretty blade but it seems like it would be a little on the light side for chopping and what not.

    I have a Hossom forester - it's just like the forager but the blade is a little longer.

    I bought it for $58 shipped from Sierra Trading Post last year.

    It's an awesome knife. Very well made, with a radiused back and a convexed edge - features usually only found on custom knives. I love it.
