LOL....I have been doing the same....2 years ago everyone on here would have laughed..."just buy new...can't reload it for the current price. "

    Feel better pressing them now.
Hell, I said the same thing about 9mm. But....I bought lots of factory ammo along with bullets, primer and powder. I'm sitting pretty right now!

Cleaned up the gun room today and loaded up some 6.5 creedmoor. 140gr Hornady bthp using Federal match primers and 34.5gr of Shooters World Match powder at 2.80 oal

    With a 7.62x54R for a size comparison.

Though this whole set up is kind of weird. These round are not crimped (literally just pushed in with hand pressure and kept in place with lube) and the bullets I'm using are a bit undersized, until the cases are fire formed to my rifle.

So as it stands, it's a .58 caliber hollow based minie ball (.575 472gr) on top of 70gr of Goex FFg with a card wad in between. Once the cases are fire formed to the chamber of my Snider, the bullets will be shifted to a .60 caliber 530gr flat based conical bullet from a mold made by X-Ring Services.

Me too. I put my 9mm dies away 2-3 years ago because I felt it wasn't worth my time. Got them out again and started rolling my own this past year.

Damndamndamn! Just stuck a .243 case in my size die. Haven't done that in years. I only had two more to go to be completely loaded out in that caliber. Drilled and tapped the primer pocket and soaking in PB Blaster in prep for pulling it.

Decided today to full length resize a bunch of 308 brass, got through all i had on the bench and every thing had gone fine. I had purchased a bunch of cavim a while back and hadn't reloaded any of it before. Low and behold it was like double duty to resize this brass, ran a few then decided i ought to check it with a case gauge, well it wasn't right let me tell you, brass was sticking out of gauge 1/16th or so, this would had been really tough to chamber glad i checked it! My thought was maybe it was fired out of a machine gun ?? I have never had a issue like this in the past has anyone else ran into this problem? reset my die and pushed the shoulder back enough to sit flush, may go a little farther tomorrow with it.

I knocked out 100 300blk rounds using h110 and 1680 and 220gr cast hitek coated bullets. Hopefully I find a good load to start mass producing.

My 1680 load worked good. The H110 load grouped well but needs a bit more oompf to lock the bolt back so I think I'm going to load a few 9.2gr and 9.5gr charges and see if that's enough. Shot the H110 loads at 200yds they have the trajectory of a mortar but had about a 3.5" group once I found my hold. I'm pretty excited about the potential of this load since both my rifle and pistol are liking it.
