Has anyone had a problem with their rear sights being sharp, as in while carrying IWB, the sharp corners wearing holes in shirts? I've been sitting at my desk a lot more recently and noticed small holes in my t-shirts (now big holes after they've been run through the washer) from the rear sights.

Is there any reason I couldn't just file the sharp corners down?

    What gun are you carrying?

Is there any reason I couldn't just file the sharp corners down?

Not at all. I had to do exactly that to the edges of the rear sight on my 640 Pro because it was digging in to my pocket holster and hanging up on the draw. Some judicious work with a file and a little cold blue and it's perfect now. Sig used to offer a complete de-horning/melt job in their SAS line, which is basically the same concept, but from the factory.

Just be sure you don't change the overall height of the sight so you don't cause point of aim/point of impact issues.

Thanks, everyone. I'll file them down once this gets delivered.
