S&W 642 Laser Problem

I have a problem with the laser on my S&W 642 body guard. My wife dropped the gun on the garage concrete floor. Well in the process of checking it out I found the laser not working. Could have been from the fall, could just be a dead battery. I don't have the proper star screw driver to take the laser off, so I took it where I bought the gun from, Meeks, in Ft. Branch. Well, they couldn't take the laser off, and they do gun repairs?, and the guy didn't know anything about what type battery it even took. Anyway, I`m a little dis-satisfied with Meeks. So, does anyone know what size battery it takes, and what size star screw I will need? Thanks in advance.

Here is the manual for it. There is an appendix at the back for the laser. Two silver oxide batteries (#357 or equivalent).

I would just pick up a set of Torx bits they come in handy for a lot of things. Looks like it might be in the 8 to 10 size bit.

Is it a Bodyguard or 642? If 642 it could be a CT. Is the laser in the grip, on the side plate ?
