Good thought. Remind me to carry this when I go downtown during our next riot to defend myself. "Your honor, I was using the same things the rioters were using... fire.I always thought arson was a forcible felony.
Weapons free!
Pretty nippy for the typical rioter/looter...
Apperantly it was an MSNBC employee, prompting the judge to ban the network and it's parent NBC from the courtroom.

What they regret is getting caught
The female was charged and convicted of something. The prosecution continued the trial of Mr Ziminski (man I butchered that name in my previous post) pending the conclusion of the Rittenhouse trial. It's why they said they couldn't call him as a witness. Fifth ammendement issues. So speaking of Ziminski's what ever happened with charges against him? Did they get dropped also?
Regretted getting caught.
I spent a little time trying to find self defense cases Branca has tried but didn’t find any. At least none that were newsworthy. He may be very knowledgeable, but maybe his lack of experience actually trying cases in a court room explains the defense not jumping at the chance to share the spotlight with him.I mean, there's book writing and then there's trial lawyering...
...but these defense attorneys didn't exactly wow me with their ability to command the courtroom.
I don't know anything about his trial experience. I'm just saying generally that writing and trying cases are 2 different skill sets. Some have both, but not everyone who is brilliant and can explain the law in writing is talented before a jury. I like to think I have some jury appeal, but I don't do criminal law, so I would never say (publicly) that I can do better.I spent a little time trying to find self defense cases Branca has tried but didn’t find any. I'm sure NBC and every other reporter wants to have the first post verdict interview with a juror. So following the bus gets them closer to that exclusive interview to ask what went wrong.Never intended to interfere with the jury....except that he ran a red light to keep up with the jury bus.
Throw the book at em!

Are they showing video from inside the courtroom? Or are they showing their reporters inside?According to the website, it appears that MSNBC has missed the story about MSNBC being banned from the courthouse.
