Hoping he picks up the lower charges, nothing of murder or manslaughter, gets some probation and that'll be it.

Unfortunately, in this sad sick society they'll find him guilty just so no peaceful protestors burn down their city.
Even though none of the three guys he shot were black...

FFS, he took more ownership of it than the pos mayor who sat on his laurels while his city burned. The kid was cleaning up and helped set perimeters which is more than the city council did.

The cops only moved in after they were forced to since they had multiple victims, otherwise they sat behind the lines with a limp dick ROE.

Maybe it isn't 'his' town but he took more responsibility than a lot of folks who absolutely should have.
I think that is the point I would use to try to teach my kids.

Why in the hell would/should they put themselves in this position? For what reason? The City has already allowed the actions and did nothing to try and stop it. TPTB, The Mayor, the Community, the Police have allowed it, and haven't taken action to stop it. This is obviously what they want.

It's amazing that they say 'he was the only person to kill anyone' and yet he was being pursued, attacked, beaten, and had a gun pointed at his head at the moment that he shot one of the aggressors, and yet they have charged him with murder when he was the one defending himself...and it's caught on video! It all shows just how twisted it can be...

Exactly! If I’m running away from you holding an A.R. 15 and you chase me down hit me in the back of the head and point a gun at me you can bet your ass I’m a blow your brains out. He better walk or I’m ready to start a riot! If it was a black man on trial the world would be turned upside down right now.

The prosecutor just got bitch slapped by the judge at the very beginning of the cross exam of Rittenhouse. He started a line of questioning implying that Kyle invoked right to silence during investigation, but is only testifying now once seeing all videos and testimony.

Judge called it a gross constitutional violation. Said prosecutors are right on the line, if not already over it.

This prosecutor is a real condescending prick. No wonder the judge slaps him. Hope he does some more.

Appears to be trying his best to make Rittenhouse angry.

I'm not watching it, but from your description it seems to be a pretty clear 5th amendment issue. At this point I'm kind of curious where the prosecutor got his degree from and where in his class he placed. Ivy Tech's online program and third from the bottom would be solid guesses.

Is this kind of cross normal? seems very strange to me.
Some of his lines of questioning are objectionable, but you don't necessarily object to everything. You don't want to seem like you are keeping the jury from hearing things and if your witness can handle things, you just let it go.

So far, this is not what I would call a skillful cross. Honestly, the prosecution has things that could make a good cross, but this is ham-fisted.

Rittenhouse is a well-composed young man. He's doing an admirable job with the prosecutor's questions.

If I were in his shoes, I would find it very difficult not to openly laugh at some of these questions.

Rittenhouse is doing a great job of not getting mad at that prick.

"Please listen to my question..." :xmad:

SOB is not asking as many questions as he is making statements.

Judge is slapping the bastard again. Sent the jury out again.

Judge is pissed! Screaming at the MFer...

I'm sure that was a large part of his prep. "He'll try to get you mad, don't bite" is generally well covered.
