    I've run searches in this thread for "address" trying to figure out what happens if someone moves (within the state) and fails to notify ISP of address change within 60 days. I looked through the ISP: Firearms Licensing FAQ and also searched through IC 35-47-2 and have not been able to find an answer. I'm sending in the change of address form today but I can't figure out if my LTCH is gone, temporarily suspended, not affected, whatever.

    The 35-47-2-3-(i) says

    " (i) If a person who holds a valid license to carry a handgun issued under this chapter:
    (1) changes the person's name;
    (2) changes the person's address; or
    (3) experiences a change, including an arrest or a conviction, that may affect the person's status as a proper person (as defined in IC 35-47-1-7) or otherwise disqualify the person from holding a license;
    the person shall, not later than thirty (30) days after the date of a change described under subdivision (3), and not later than sixty (60) days after the date of the change described under subdivision (1) or (2), notify the superintendent, in writing, of the event described under subdivision (3) or, in the case of a change under subdivision (1) or (2), the person's new name or new address. "

    Just says you have to notify within 60 days, doesn't really get into what happens if you don't. Anyone know from experience or otherwise?

    I have found the form I need to turn in when we move (in state). Can someone tell me the time constraint to getting it to the ISP? I have no intention of paying for a new card, just want to know how to remain legal. I've read the mentioned IC, and can see nothing about a timeframe to notify ISP of the move.

    Thanks :)

    It says right on the LTCH that "You are REQUIRED BY LAW to notify the State Police, in writing, within 60 days of a change of name and/or address."

    i wonder if they are going to stop the lifetime in the near future, or are they just going to talk about it?

    This looks OLD, but I would just stop and talk with a cop.. Most are very helpfull.
    I think, if your out in the county you must go through the County PD and if your in a city you go through the City/Town PD to get the paper work done! Most are very helpfull, just be nice! Hope this helps....

    I didn't have the money for the lifetime LTCH, so I got the 4 year version instead. Can I renew it for the lifetime before the 4 year LTCH expires?

    You have to wait until you are within 365 days of expiration before you can apply for the lifetime. Also, the new LTCH will not be mailed out until just before the 4 year expires. :twocents:

    Was just on the application site for LTCH. it appears to be broken. Many categories are missing. (county, race, hair color, ect....) tried filling out other categories and hit continue, but says it's missing info..... tried using the site with explorer, firefox, and chrome, all with the same results....
    anyone else experience this tonight?
