I don't know why I would live in a community where this is the case. Be assured that it is a no-where-near universal proposition.

I have had local political signs from time to time, Congressional primary, judge, prosecutor...but never a presidential election sign.

At this point, since I live on a dead-end private road, there's no reason for any sign. Regardless, no candidate in this presidential election excites me enough to going looking for a sign.

Its not my community that bothers me. It is what drives through it. In the 15+ years I've been here, the only issue I've had is because of the previous tenants.

I've had signs in the past, Bush/Cheney was the last potus. I usually end up with a sign for congress in the yard. Given the current climate I'm rethinking having any signs at all. I did have a NOBAMA sticker on my Jeep during which time I worked at 38th & Keystone, and 71st & Michigan, no one ever bothered it. It stayed on the vehicle until Trump was inaugurated. Things seem different now.

I have 2 signs at the end of my driveway painted on each side of large maple tree about 4' tall. Simply VOTE. If more people would exercise their right to vote, I don't think we would be in this s.pile.

I cannot agree with this point.
All the socialist politicians were VOTED into office, so voting alone is NOT the answer.
Voting only for leaders that support liberty, freedom, the constitution, etc. is the answer. Not sure a yard sign of any kind opens the eyes of those that need it.
I would encourage all leftists and nanny state types to stay home, not to vote.

I suggest you modify the signs for effectiveness: VOTE FOR TRUMP

    Not for me

I tend to live by the grey man theory. No one need's to know anything about me. The one's I love and the one's who are close to me already know

I'm on the fence. On one hand, I feel like it invites trouble. On the other hand, our neighbor has some ugly homemade signs that say "Be Smart. Vote Democrat" and "Dump Trump", and that just brings out my ornery side. My husband wants to get a Trump/Pence sign. I'm ok with it as long as it's not gigantic, but if something happens, i won't want another one.

I'm an advocate for grey man theory for most things in my life, including this. No political signage, no stickers on vehicles, no tactical looking clothing for the most part.

I don't see the need to paint a target on my family, and let someone with malice in mind decide when, where, and how any conflict could occur.

As said above, Ive never seen a sign in a yard that made me change my vote. They just seem useless.

I work in a First Responder capacity and you wont find any identifiers on my vehicle or person (less for security purposes and more because I dont let the job define who I am). I just prefer to not stand out.

Grey man is the way and the light. People are absolutely bug**** insane and I'm plenty worried about trouble finding me without going out of my way to ask for it.

My only "sign" is my American flag.

In other words... Trump 2020, because everyone knows the democrats hate the American flag, and everything it represents.

Not worth the risk in my opinion. Won't sway anyone else's vote anyway. Just opens you and the family up for problems and it doesn't seem like you're trying to pick a fight...
