    I did joint ops on several occasions. The first was Bold Buzzard (Eagle) 74. The last was joint NATO Reforger 81.

    I was on many operations in the Army the were all called that.

    When I was at The Airborne School (1981) one of the instructors explained that paratroopers had to be tough because every airborne operation in (at least US Army's) history was %#$**!! up right from the start.

    That was before the jump into northern Iraq, I think that one went pretty smooth, but other than that, yeah.
