    Ditto, lean against the window and go to sleep, but you do get those chumps that want the aisle so they can rush to the front when the plane lands. That's one of my pet peeves.

    Just for the sake of argument, perhaps the plane arrived late for whatever unknown reason and now this poor “chump” has to try to make his connecting flight in 10 minutes that is 30 gates away. Maybe getting off the plane as quickly as possible is the only way he has a chance to make the flight (?). Just for the sake argument, you know.

    It was a bit unorthodox. But it wasn’t a protest of America. Hendrix was anti-war. And he was, at least a little, protesting the war. If he was trying to send a message with it, it was ”I’m anti-war, and I’m American”. It was impromptu. He later called his rendition, “beautiful.” I think the meme is accurate enough.
