I have had a couple of "Good 'ol Boys" at work talk about the Plymouth Conservation Club south of town on Muckshaw Road when we get to talking about shooting. One was a member and shot there way back before he picked up some land of his own to shoot on. I was hoping to try and join to save from driving to Kingsbury or Winamac ranges, so I drove by it for the first time yesterday to investigate. Let's just say I was less than impressed at first sight from the road. Hand painted sign, old and broken down sheds, a rusty chained and locked gate blocking the drive, and I am pretty sure I heard the song from Deliverance being played on a banjo. I hate to go on my first instinct and not pursue this any further, but I can not find a phone listing or reference anywhere online or on forum for this club.
Anybody know what the story is here or what lies beyond the gate?
