I didn't sound like they left the child. Believe both suffered burns and smoke inhalation. The delivery driver attempted entry a couple time too, but was quickly overcome by smoke and heat

When my neighbors house burned with her inside, I broke in the door and tried to enter. I didn't get three steps inside before the heat and smoke forced me to retreat.

Five minutes seems like a LONG time, I’ve seen fires spread from whatever to oh poop on a few seconds. I cant imagine what firefighters have seen

5 minutes is average, and with no special circumstances, such as grease or accelerates.

Also, an average can be affected by starting cause and location.

It's like the 5/5/5 rule for oxygen (minutes)/water (days)/food weeks)
It's just an estimate, and very dependent on other factors.

Cashier at the Tractor Supply Co store in St John told me, yesterday afternoon, that the St John store is the largest store in the area and that the Lowell store, which is due to open up in mid/late May, will be a smaller store.

I think/thought the Merrillville TSC, on the south side of US30 near Team Honda, is bigger than the St John store. Ditto the Valpo store.
