There is a place I have not been in forever. That place had great burgers and lemon rice soup.

HAD is the key word.
Granted this is blashphem but it still beats some Schoops locations.

For example the Hammond and St. John schoops are hit or miss with the basic burgers.

The crown point and schereville (on us30) jedi has never had a bad burgers. Heck the cp one always seems to be bigger and loaded with stuff.

Calumet city location only been to once so can't judge. The Munster (original) one seems to have the smallest of the burgers.

For those of you getting sick.

4 to 5 cups of water
1 purple onion
1 stick of Cinnamon
And boil this stuff to make a tea.


Then in a glass Jat honey with garlic that has been fermenting for 15 days.

Add the honey to taste the tea and drink up. Add yellow lemon for taste as well.

You get used to the taste but this old European witch magic works.

But we had dinner plans tonight at the Pivot Lounge with some friends, one of whom has multiple health problems anyway. And of course I also wanted to know what it was so I could try to keep my 90-yr-old mom from getting it when she has already had bronchitis since Thanksgiving. Very difficult to avoid contact when I am her caretaker. I am disinfecting ALL THE THINGS.

I do like Pivot Lounge.

That was me last night. Hardly got any sleep because I was having trouble breathing and I was freezing cold and shivery.

Act, I hope you and Pete (and everyone) will be OK. Meanwhile, If you go to urgent care today they can give you antivirals. There is a very small window of time that you can take them after symptoms start.

Body aches, the runs and sinus pressure.

Felt fine this am.
But at work I noticed something was not right when I ran to the bathroom.

Stayed in a network closet after that to test myself and avoid others and was told to leave once the result was in.

Was given another test to take in a few days.

the drive back was draining. Going to bed now.

Fever and chills might come tonight. I had a horrible night last night. Had to sleep in the recliner so I could breathe, and I got out every extra blanket we had.

I probably have it. Cold symptoms only, so who knows. But I'm not testing, cuz it does not matter. I've gotta work. If I stay home, I'm only hurting myself. I'm not dealing with people though, and my wife's getting over something, and my graphic artist has already been exposed, if I have it.

Life goes on.

Went to Blythe's range yesterday. They don't have the heat on in the range anymore. It was as cold inside the range as it was outside. You could easily see your breath and my hands were so cold it became difficult to load magazines.
Won't be going there anytime the weather is cold.
