I've been going for about a week myself. Decided to start growing one before I remembered November was right around the corner.

My last shave was October 28th. I keep it trimmed to a number 4 on the clippers. One of this days I will let it grow out but the wife does not like that.

I never shave mine off.....trim it but only been with out facial hair 1 time in 20 years. Chemo has a way of removing all body hair.

I'm still in. I might get the beard trimmed up and donate some to those that can't grow one. Locks of Love wants minimum of 10 inches. I'm at 9 right now. I think 10 will be the minimum for Beard for Bros (my new charitable organization).

i don't think there's many pure bred people left, I've got Irish, Sioux Indian, German, English... The fine red facial hair just doesn't come in that well, and when it finally does it's patchy and kinda does its own thing...
