We bought this about a week ago.

We have had a resistance welder for several years now. For those that care but don't know what I mean.
Resistance, compression or spot welding all pretty much the same thing. It is designed to duplicate the welds on cars as the come from the factory.

With some of the advances in technology and metals and the way cars are built I have had to upgrade so we went all out. For example the 2011 Ford Focus is using Boron steel in some of the passenger compartment areas also technology now allow manufactures to create one piece of metal that is different thicknesses in different areas. If the piece of metal needs to be strong in the middle but does not matter out on the ends it can be formed that way for additional strength and also weight saving.

this resistance welder is certified by BMW, Mercedes, Porcshe, Audi, and at Volkswagon for approval now.

Water cooled auto senses what type of metals you are welding. Both thickness and makeup. I can literally weld 2 razor blade together and turn around and weld Boron steel or a Bumper reinforcement with out making an adjustment.

Only thing I can't get it to do is send email....yet
