Like the title says, I need an affordable night vision scope to hunt coyotes with. It doesnt have to be top of the like but I would like to find something decent. If anyone as any suggestions please get ahold of me.

The scope will be going onto an AR rifle. So any suggestions would help.

Thanks for all your help guys.

im gonna jump on this thread too.

is it possible to take a rifle with a daytime scope that is already mounted and zeroed and simply put a night vision monocular in front of it? the forend as to not change eye relief?

if this would function, night vision can be had affordably, right?

    Look at the PVS-22

That's what its supposed to do, but I'm not sure how well it works or doesn't work.

Maybe check out Pulsar or Yukon. I honestly think you might be better off with saving your money and getting a Generation 2 night vision device when you have enough. Generation 1 deteriorates rapidly compared to Gen 2 or Gen 3, and image quality is just so much better

The PVS-22's work very well but they are pricey.

I had no problem going 10 for 10 on a 600 yard steel with the configuration pictured. It was dark enough that I couldn't make out the 100 yard targets with the naked eye.

I'm old enough to remember when calculators cost over $100.00 . I should be able to get one about the time a gen 43 comes out.
