Yeah, PD responded to a call of shots fired and a suspicious vehicle. Officers found the suspicious vehicle and immediately called bomb squad. They then immediately started evacuating the area. While waiting for bomb squad, the vehicle expoded.

Being Christmas morning I would imagine everyone was “On Call” rather than “On Duty”. Slower response probably saved their lives.

I had assumed it was an announcement put out by the city.

Isn't it common for bomb makers to warn people though? Usually with a phone call to the police.

My knowledge on the subject is entirely based on the movie Speed so I could be wrong.

Sure it's weird that someone wants to hurt/kill people while while giving them a warning to get out of the way.

Recorded warning, and what seems to be a targeted bombing of the AT&T building/infrastructure (unless someone had a really bad experience at Old Spaghetti Warehouse)
Seems to be extra careful to avoid loss-of-life.

Distraction? Overdue phone bill? Deep state?

If we've got already got video from just down the street, who's got the video of the RV's arrival? Everyone's got cameras on that block, so there's got to be plenty captured. In fact, the video above would have captured the arrival, unless the RV was wrong-way/one-way on that block.

There's lots of funny smells coming out of this situation...
