Good luck getting the truth now......

Update: The Department of Justice on Monday announced two federal criminal charges against David DePape.

“DePape was charged with attempted kidnapping, and with retaliating against a federal official by threatening or injuring a family member.” CNBC reported.

The US government will now control and hide the evidence – and shape the national media narrative.
David DePape did not hang himself!

    Too soon?

Speaker's husband calmly opened door to cops

Interestingly, NBC has already pulled the report that initially gave this info. If you go to their website it says the video is no longer available. I did find a copy of it on twitter:

There's also a copy of the video on Mediaite: https://www.mediaite.com/news/nbc-d...-over-reporting-standards-watch-segment-here/

If you pause the video to read the visible text of the police report, there is a reference that the accused had a laptop with an additional hammer, A LAPTOP, and some zip ties.

I have not been following this toooo closely, but I have not heard anyone mention dude had a laptop! What do you think may have been on that laptop?

And yes, your Honors, I know that is conjecture... :D

Didn't watch the video, but just commenting on the Tucker titles. If NBC didn't want people to see the video they wouldn't have published the report. The tin foil hat version is probably the most likely reality. NBC published the video and then someone important enough to have sway told them to take it down.

This. Just taking a story down causes the least harm to the family. If the facts were wrong, they would have corrected them. Not just make the story disappear like a fart in the wind.

But to the average non thinker, they assume “ oh, they must have jumped the gun and posted something false. So of course they took the falsehood down. That fixed it.”

Right. They'd retract it if it were inaccurate. Taking it down is what you do when you don't want people to see it.

Wait. Mainstream media retracts stories they publish if later found untrue?
Yes. But lately, they have to be sued first or threatened to be sued. But they don't just delete stuff like this.

If they say they retract it, they at least acknowledge that they reported on it. It's like the story still exists even though they admit it's not true. But deleting it, that's a different statement.
