Well, They are investigating the motivation. Was it the guy whose truck he wrecked while driving drunk in Napa? Was it someone who saw the $20 a pint ice cream, really cool industrial freezer, and figured there was some good loot there?

Hopefully the prosecutor there doesn’t cut the assailant the same deal Paulie P Got for driving drunk.

Now, Que the "White Supremacist" "Ultra MAGA Republican" "violent extremist" allegations; in 1, 2, 3,...

ETA: Newsmax included this bit in their article:

"While the circumstances of the attack are unclear, the attack raises questions about the safety of members of Congress and their families as threats to lawmakers are at an all-time high almost two years after the deadly Capitol insurrection. The attack also comes just 11 days ahead of midterm elections in which crime and public safety have emerged as top concerns among Americans.

In 2021, Capitol Police investigated around 9,600 threats made against members of Congress, and members have been violently attacked in recent years. Former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., was shot in the head at an event outside a Tucson grocery store in 2011, and Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., was severely injured when a gunman opened fire on a Republican congressional baseball team practice in 2017."

Our elected representatives are servants of the electorate. They should be no more safe than any other citizen. If they reap what they have sown, so be it.

Husband of the floozie Paul was shagging? A couple body building brothers paid via personal check? A masked guy wearing kakis and carrying a tiki torch? Truly just some random nut bag? So many possibilities.

Reports say attacker wanted to know where his wife was at. Made it sound like he was after Nancy. Schumer on the war path and another democrat saying we know what side this violence comes from…… ? My guess is Nancy paid the guy to do it and blame republicans for all the inner city violence.

This is most plausible. She was probably tired of his ****.
