    He didn't say he's leaving the "Senate," at least that I've seen thus far.

    About time. But he's staying in the Seante through 2027, just stepping down as party leader. That's the right call to wait until his term expires. We certainly don't want the current KY gov (Democrat) to choose his replacement.

    It seems like I’ve posted this before but it’s worth repeating. The first election I voted in was in 1984. That was the election that the turtle was elected to the Senate.
