Tomorrow will be the twentieth year in a row I will not be running the mini-marathon. This is a PR for me :rockwoot:

any of us INGO types running it? I enjoyed it the one year I did it. Definitely an experience.

I've helped in years past with comms between water/rest stations, paramedics, IMPD and the event organizer. Never ran it as it's against my pro-bacon religion.

If you see me running, you better run too, 'cause it means something bad is coming.

I'll be avoiding downtown tomorrow. Been caught up in that mess before. blah.

Remember when they used to run it on week days? You couldn't get in or out of downtown to or from the westside from about 11:00am- 4:00pm. Royal PITA.

Today was the first time I went for a run since Dec 27th thanks to shoulder surgery. Had I been able to continue running like I had been I'd be running tomorrow. Maybe next year....

I ran two races last year, got 2nd in both of them, I am going to stop while I am ahead, both 1st place finishers were super freaks that I could never catch and I am sure I would never come close to placing that well again. I figure for only having ran two races and placing 2nd place in both is pretty good.

Having said that I ran both of mine in the Florida summer, it pulls every breath you take away, you simply cannot suck air, one was up hill in soft turf, ugh.

Good luck to those that are running, enjoy the cool no humid air.
