Just heard yesterday that Taurus was bought by magpul, what does everybody think of this? From what I've heard they will be selling out old stock at a discount to bring in new stock, is this old news?

I agree with sheepdog. Isnt taurus (partially) brazilian owned, or just assembled there?
Either way, im more likely to buy a Magrus/Taurpul than i was a Taurus.

As far as I know it's legit, saw it in writing in a corporate statement, I just wondered if anybody else had heard it or any other details

If true I can't say I could have predicted that one. I also can't see Magpul continuing with much of anything that Taurus is doing, I would expect a complete change of direction. I wonder if it was simply the most affordable means of obtaining the facilities and machinery to go into production with a new line of weapons?

Anyone else find it kinda ironic that a company that started with gun accessories might have bought out gun manufacturer?
