I think you have a valid point or two hidden inside of the bias and snark so let’s unpack this.If you find yourself in a situation where the commies are defending you...
1. Russia is not communist. We don’t like that they have elected the same “strong man” for years but he is democratically elected. should you think their elections are “rigged” then perhaps it’s a wake up call that it’s possible anywhere.
2. Bad actors used the internet to help stoke the fires that led to the January 6th event ( I refuse to call it an insurrection but that’s another discussion).
Did Russia or China send people to organize the events? No probably not. Did they send money to those that did? I think the probability is highly. Did Russian and Chinese sock puppets post online to help motivate real people to go to DC? Certainly. How do we know for sure? We don’t but since the US Air Force operates it’s own troll farms we can assume other world powers do as well. See below.
3. Every here loves to yell “muh rights!” But we contain the discussion to the rights guaranteed by the US constitution and Bill of rights. The UN bill of human rights is a real thing and is frequently cited when the US wants to intervene in a countries affairs.
4. One of those human rights is the right to a fair trial. Does politicians going on TV to declare someone’s guilt before they are even arrested violate this right? Perhaps we should just have a good old fashioned lynching?
The Air Force created an army of online trolls
Everyone gets Facebook friend requests from strangers. We used to worry about them being identity thieves. Nowadays, those strangers might be spooks. <…
