But to get back to the whole rape exception thing, imagine now what this looks like from the perspective of the abortionist. We're basically saying to him, okay here's this human baby who is perfectly innocent and has a right to life, so if you kill him/her we're going to punish you under the law. Oh wait, this baby's father allegedly committed a crime? Never mind, break out the scissors and dismember away!
Keep in mind: I don't personally agree with a rape exception, to begin with.

    At the Ranch.
    Insane for sure.

But think of the absolute bedlam if someone actually DID this and managed to kill several justices.

I don't think there'd be any coming back from it, as a country.
Frightening for sure... uncharted territory. Especially if the .gov's abc's dont take some of these crazies seriously.

If an abortion is murder then all parties a party to it are guilty. Women that willingly submit themselves to an abortion, the brutal murder of another human being, are just as guilty as the “doctor” performing the procedure. He’s just the hired hit-man.

So, there are other religions under whose 'teachings' a woman who engages in sex outside of marriage would be stoned to death

Does that mean they would have standing to bring a lawsuit because said law doesn't punish the mother enough?

Can't see I see the legal logic of any such a claim

That's philosophically consistent and if you want to advocate for that, feel free. However, there is nothing to say that a legislature can't make a distinction.

If you carve out for rape as an example, what do you do with the mother afterwards if the rape claim was false? Also does this allow for a premeditated murder charge for the woman?
If a rape is claimed, must there be formal charges against A man before that claim can be used for an abortion? Must the man be convicted before that claim can be used for an abortion? What happens if said trial is delayed more than 9 months? Exactly how deep are we willing to “nuance” a carve out in a law that would allow for children that can’t protect themselves from harm, be murdered?
This proves my point that its a complex issue that wont be properly served by throwing together a law overnight because they just happen to be in a special session.

One of the ways you minimize the chances of a 'next time' is you give it to them so bad the first time that they won't want a 'next time'
There’s a scale of how bad they got it vs how brainwashed they are. So maximum brainwash requires maximum “give it to them”.
